What would happen if every genre in video games were suddenly made online-compatible? It'd make a lot of unconnected (or destitute) gamers very sad, of course, but it'd also likely be a breath of fresh air for certain bits of the marketplace that are getting a little rank, if you know what I mean. Case in point: Resident Evil. Capcom sent out information today on Network Biohazard (working title), an online-exclusive version of their survival-horror institution that'll hit the PS2 at some unspecified time next year. (And not the GameCube, oddly enough, despite RE producer Shinji Mikami's Nintendo exclusivity promise. Guess it didn't extend to online.)
