You've seen the scenario before: You go to a party, meet someone new, and they make a great first impression. The person seems cute, smart, funny great all around. But after spending some time with them, you realize they're not that funny. They're not that smart. They're not that cute. In fact, they're rather annoying, and you would sooner have a root canal sans anesthesia than spend one more minute in their presence.
