Lionbridge named an official localization service for Microsoft | |

Waltham-based Lionbridge Technologies Inc. yesterday announced a new agreement with Microsoft Inc. that formalizes Lionbridges role as a localization and testing provider for Microsoft products through June 2005. Lionbridges executives placed the potential value of the contract between $40 million and $60 million. Microsoft has named Lionbridge a global premier provider of localization services. As such, Lionbridge will translate Microsoft products and technical documentation into the right language and correct technical format for the Microsofts large international customer base. The programs goal is to identify qualified and competitive suppliers who can handle the majority of Microsofts outsourced localization work. | ||
