It won't reach PC manufacturers for another month or so, but AMD's brand-new Athlon XP 2700+ has reached our hardcore sister site Sharky Extreme. Like the XP 2800+ also announced the other day, the 2700+ takes the big step from a 266MHz to a 333MHz (166MHz DDR) front-side bus -- finally bringing AMD's performance CPU in sync with speedy 333MHz DDR memory. | ||
