MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries has received a $329,000 technology grant from Microsoft Corp. The grant includes hardware and software to be used to enhance MERS/Goodwill's office and administration skills as well as computer repair training programs for its clients. MERS/Goodwill offers five technology training programs, including administrative assistance and word processing; Associates for Disabled Entry Programmer Training, which trains visually disabled clients for computer programming careers; A+ computer repair certification; Net+ network systems certification; and a Microsoft Excel-based accounting program. | ||
