Microsoft Praises FTC Web Site on Information Security | |

Microsoft Corp. today praised the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for launching a new Web site on information security. The Web site, http://www.ftc.gov/infosecurity/, will help educate consumers on important steps they should take to help safeguard their personal information online. Microsoft applauded the role Commissioner Orson Swindle played in this effort and as head of the U.S. delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Experts Group, which recently revised international guidelines for securing information systems and networks. | ||
