TweakTown has a review posted on their site about the new GeForce4 MX440 with an 8X AGP (AGP 3.0) interface. Does it please (or downright disappoint)? Can it overwhelm a Radeon 9000? Click on the headline link to find out:
Today nVidia announces the latest addition to their budget graphics chipset line, the GeForce4 MX440-8X. Based on the NV18 chipset, the MX440-8X is directed at the budget gaming market and is in direct competition with the Radeon 9000 from ATi. The first NV18 based card we have managed to obtain is Prolink's GeForce4 MX440-8X.
The first question on many of your minds is more than likely to be, "How does it differ from the original GeForce4 MX range?" and, "Is there any tangible performance increase?". Both of these questions and more will be answered in this review as we put the card through a number of benchmarks against competing, similarly priced graphics chipsets.
