It's tough writing an unauthorized biography, and even tougher when the subject runs one of the most closed-off companies in America. That's the task Fredric Alan Maxwell undertook in "Bad Boy Ballmer," due out Tuesday. The book is as successful as it could be considering Maxwell's lack of access. Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer declined to be interviewed for the book, as did virtually every other current and former top officer at the company. | ||
