Despite a series of delays, Japanese developer Atlus is reportedly nearing completion on its long awaited Xbox RPG Nine. As previously reported, two versions of the game (offline and online compatible) are scheduled for release in Japan. The game's story will focus on a cast of three main characters: Emi, Baraki, and Meiko. The game's title is related to personality traits including light (good), dark (evil), chaos (confusion), law (order), etc. All associated traits are influenced by events and other characters in the game. Nine will boast a unique realtime 3D battle system wherein players can form multiple parties to fend off enemies. The finished version will reportedly feature extensive hard-drive related functions, full network play, and 5.1 channel compatible sound. | ||
