W32.Lavehn.A@mm is a mass-mailing worm that sends itself to all addresses in the Microsoft Outlook Address Book. The email message has the following characteristics:
Subject: ADMISION 2003
Attachment: Unheval.exe
The worm deletes from the infected computer all files that have the extensions .xls, .doc, .mdb, .mp3, .rpt, or .dwg.
NOTE: Definitions prior to July 22, 2002 will detect this threat Bloodhound.W32.VBWORM
W32.Kitro.E.Worm
W32.Kitro.E.Worm is a worm that spreads by email and over the KaZaA network. The viral email characteristics will be one of seven different Subjects and Attachments. The subject will be one of the following:
- Te han enviado una postal.
- Leelo y reenvialo a quienes aprecias.
- This is the last problem.
- Para los amigos.
- Fw: Enviame tu foto.
- Es posible que nos roben el dinero!!!.
- Banks vulnerabilitie.
The corresponding attachment will be one of the following:
- Cajerosautomaticos!!!.DOC.pif
- YaNoPuedoTener$$$$$.DOC.pif
- EnNavarras.pif
- Facturas556.XLS.pif
- List.txt.by.Microsoft.com
- AuToDeTeRmInAzIon.Doc.pif
- PostalDeAmistad.pif
