Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. today announced a strategic supply agreement with Microsoft Corp under which Samsung will continue to play a significant role in supplying DDR SDRAM memory used in the Xbox(tm) video game system.
The agreement highlights Samsung's strength as the leader in the semiconductor memory arena and as a key member of the impressive team of technology suppliers supporting Xbox. By working with Samsung, Microsoft will have access to the most advanced DDR SDRAM memory technology available from a company with a proven record of producing high-volume components on time.
