We recently got a chance to sit down with the upcoming Xbox game Counter-Strike and are pleased to say that everything that made the game a hit on the PC is translating nicely for Xbox gamers. From the start, players will have a variety of gameplay modes to keep themselves busy, including single player missions and multiplayer via either System Link or by hopping online using Xbox Live. Single player, while not as varied as playing against human opponents, is still a blast thanks to a wide variety of difficulty and mission settings. Players still have access to a huge assortment of different weapons, as well as helpful items to keep yourself alive.
