On January 21, the U.S. District Court in Baltimore, Maryland issued a preliminary injunction requiring Microsoft to include the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from Sun Microsystems in certain current and future versions of Microsoft® Windows XP® or Microsoft Internet Explorer and enjoining Microsoft from certain separate or "stand-alone" distributions of the Microsoft virtual machine (Microsoft VM). | ||
