  Review: NASCAR Thunder 2003 (GCN)
Time: 15:58 EST/20:58 GMT | News Source: GameSpyDaily | Posted By: Fred Fernandez

NASCAR Thunder 2003 (GCN) Much like horse racing, NASCAR is often criticized as not being a real sport because the athletes are really the vehicles, not the humans controlling them. The problem with this argument is that most people have never sat behind the wheel of a car going 200 MPH for 400 laps, where just about everyone has tossed a football around or shot hoops. If EA's NASCAR Thunder 2003 is any indication, staying in control of a stock car is no easy task and the participants in the sport should be commended, if only for their ability to remained focused. Ironically, this is one thing the game fails to do, but instead it manages to appeal to the average player and NASCAR fanatics.
