Yamaha Corparation today unveiled the new CRW-F1, a High Quality, Full CAV
CD-R/RW Recorder, that promises unmatched stability, efficiency and offers
the new Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording and the revolutionary
DiscT@2 Laser Drawing System. The CRW-F1 is all about Fascination, Fastness, Fineness and Fun. The CRW-F1 offers revolutionary DiscT@2 Laser Drawing Function, which allows graphics and text to be burnt onto CD-R disc, like a Tattoo.
The CRW-F1 has the new "Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording" mode for writing Audio CDs, and Data-CDs, with less digital noise (jitter). The new Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording supports 1x and 8x writing
speed addition to the original 4x writing speed previously available. The CRW-F1 supports up to 870 MB and can record maximum 79 minutes music data
in Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording Mode. Yamaha adopted the Full CAV Technolgy for CD-R & CD-RW Writing to ensure high quality recording even at high speed. Built around Yamaha LSI YDC132-V chipset, the drive supports SafeBurn, Mount Rainier,Optimum Write Speed Control and comes with a 8MB buffer. The CRW-F1 burns CDs at the speed of light: 44x CD-R Recording, 24x CD-RW ReWriting, 44x Reading and 44x Audio Extraction.
The Yamaha CRW-F1 is expected to be available by the end of July at an undisclosed price.
