Warner Home Video has announced the DVD release of Exorcist: The Beginning. The Renny Harlin-directed film which traces the story of Father Merrin back to his first encounter with the Devil during his missionary work in Africa. The DVD will be available on March 1st, with a retail price of $27.95. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track.Bonus features include an audio commentary with director Renny Harlin, a making of featurette and the film's theatrical trailer. This single-disc release will not include the Paul Schrader version of the film, which was rumored to be released at the same time. | ||
