MapPoint Location Server is a new enterprise server from Microsoft MapPoint. With MapPoint Location Server you can integrate location-based services into applications that target mobile devices such as Pocket PCs and Smartphones. MapPoint Location Server works in conjunction with MapPoint Web Service technology and connects wireless mobile devices, location service providers, and MapPoint Web Service to provide powerful location-based services for Enterprise customers. This download consists of a location provider, a software plug-in for MapPoint® Location Server that allows communication with Sprint (mobile operator).
