Intel has just released three updates for the Intel Pocket Concert Audio Player. The first update is a driver set for Windows 2000 and Windows XP that'll handle the communication between your player and your computer's operating system. That way the player is at last operational under Windows XP. The second update is the Intel FM Setup Tuner Utility that allows you to change FM radio frequency steppings. If you purchased your audio player in North America and now have it outside of North America, you need to run this utility before you can successfully tune into FM radio stations. Intel has also released a new FirmWare 1.1 that fixes a few bugs and adds functionnalities as listed below:
- Changes fast forward and fast rewind behavior.
- Instead of scanning 5 seconds of play time for every 1 second that you hold the button, scanning is now continuous until you release the button.
- You can scan extremely long WMA files.
- Your FM Tuner digital presets are retained at all times.
- Your Bookmarks are retained at all times.
- You can configure your FM Tuner to work in different regions worldwide.
Nonetheless the Intel Audio Manager 2.0 isn't available yet for the Pocket Concert Audio Player. Go ahead and grab the latest updates for your Intel digital audio player, right now by following the links below:
