Update 12:34: Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Wednesday the attacks
on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were an act of war and promised the
United States would respond ``as if it is a war.''
Update 12:34: World capitals are now under high security. Every public
buildings in Paris and Lyon (both of the biggest France's towns) are controlled
by police patrols that examine closely people by opening and controlling the
contents of bags, cases, etc. Lyon's Interpol headquarter now looks like a

Update 11:49: UN cancels children sommit that was sheduled to start next
week. France internal security services reveal they had received three weeks ago
a notice stating that american interests and public buildings may be the target
of upcoming terrorist attacks in Europe. Greenspan tries to reassure the
financial world stating he has sufficient reserve of liquid assets.
Update 11:46: Vladimir Putin decreeted that Russians will observe one minute
of silence tomorrow at noon. AFP news agency reports Taliban will consider
extraction of Bin Laden.
Update 10:54: Microsoft website
displays this short message: "September 11 was a day of shock and sadness for
people around the world. Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected
by this terrible tragedy."
Update 10:43: Pope Jean Paul II, states this morning that yesterday was a sad
day for the whole mankind. He said that those aggressions were against human
dignity.
