Now the rumored changes have become fact as Sony has officially announced an immediate change to the price of the 60GB bundle down to $499 ($549 Canadian)—but only in North America. A Sony Computer Entertainment America spokesperson stated that pricing in other territories will remain the same. Additionally, Sony added that it will be debuting an 80GB bundle in August, which will include the Motorstorm game as a free pack-in. The new offering will carry a $599 price tag ($659 Canadian) and, as with the 60GB price change, will only be offered in North America for the time being.
