I would like to think I'm deserving because I alway have been generous to others when I could be. When I was working I would bring carloads of food to a local food pantry that was always underfunded. I also would bring down hundreds of pounds of pet food to a local no kill shelter each month. When it came time to get a dog - I rescued a greyhound from a racing track. I've always tried to do whatever I can to help those in need when I could. Unfortunately 3 months ago I lost my job and my husband lost his. We've been making do with what we have - but our computer is over 8 years old and to have a new one would be a dream come true.

I can only imagine how much easier this would make my life. First off, my current main computer is a netbook due to my budget and it can't do everything that I need it to do for work. There's only so many times that I can borrow a laptop from a friend before he wants to kill me and my old Compaq died earlier this year. Winning this would help my productivity, enhance my creativity and be just a complete joy in my life. No more tiny screens to make my eyes hurt! Thank you so much for the chance!

Our family PC could certainly use an upgrade. It doesn't have enough memory and there's no more slots to add any more. Because of this I'm unable to add any software. It'll just cause the PC to freeze up

| I'm a freelance graphic designer and a very hard worker. Although I do charge for my time and my work, I still offer my services free of charge. The desktop I currently use is old and has slowed way down. It's hard to design and maintain websites and other large files with a computer that has slowed to a crawl. The Lenova ThinkCentre would make my life SO much easier, not to mention how cool it is. The touchscreen would allow me to do some work that I've been unable to do up to this point. Awesome giveaway! |

I am using a computer with a broken screen and keyboard.
I gave my laptop to my daughter because she needed it for school. Everybody here seems deserving, and it's hard for me to say that I am more deserving, but I am a gernerous, caring person who puts everyone first and a great mom. |

I hope to win this computer not for myself but for my dad. After my mom passed away several years ago, my dad has given up a lot of life pleasures and oftentimes took on multiple jobs to take care of my brother and me. I know that he is a bit tired just by looking at his face but he never complains about it, at least not in front of my brother and me. Though the hours are very long and the pay meager, he told us he is grateful that he can still find work to do in this weak economy. And with my brother recently diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia, the burden on our family is ever greater, especially for my dad. He definitely needs a break and this computer will be a great reward for his hard work.

| I visit Activewin at least 4 days a week several times each day looking for news about Microsoft products and tech in general. I do need a new computer or at least my dad needs one because his old computer is breaking apart. This new Lenovo looks pretty covenient, all-in-one, a mixture of a laptop design with multitouch capabilities and a desktop performance |
