New Yamaha 1.0H FirmWare for DAO-RAW support in Clone CD | |

Everyone knows that DAO-RAW mode is state of the art writing mode to make perfect copies of CD-Roms including errors of the original CD (as far as the CD reader doesn't fix them on the fly). If the use of this mode is more than doubtful, many Yamaha owners will want to enjoy it right now. The major weakness of the recent Yamaha 2100 drive (check out our review here) is that it wasn't supported by Clone CD. Yamaha has just released a new firmware 1.0H for its latest 16x burner that allows perfect work in combination with the recently released Clone CD 2.8.4.2 so you'll be able to copy CDs, bytes per bytes, at the high speed of 16x.
