David Nelson, owner of the newly formed Assembly Source in Westminster, Colo., tried last week to set up DSL service for his small business. He contacted Qwest, the only DSL provider in his area and the move required him to accept MSN as his Internet provider.
The problem: Microsoft would not accept his proposed e-mail address, assemblysource@msn.com, because of the first three letters — a no-no under MSN policy.
