Windows Powered NAS User Base Continues to Increase | |

Microsoft Corp. today announced that analyst firm International Data Corp. (IDC) released information for the second quarter of 2002 that shows the user base for Microsoft® Windows® Powered Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliance servers has increased to nearly 32 percent in just over a year and a half since launch.* Because customers are challenged to manage increasing amounts of data and because IT spending is in a down cycle, it is increasingly important that innovative, comprehensive and cost-effective solutions are available to IT administrators and their businesses. This is where Microsoft continues to display its commitment to the industry by devoting resources to NAS and growing the user base.
