The award-winning Asheron's Call is one of the titles that define the current generation of persistent state online games. In particular, it stands out from its contemporaries because of its constantly evolving storyline. Also notable is its setting, an original world populated by creatures that had no basis in fiction or reality. The developers taxed their collective imaginations and came up with what may be some of the most unique monsters that have ever graced players' monitors. Now, almost three years later, Massachusetts-based developer Turbine Entertainment Software has announced a sequel and begun to show the second generation of this successful massively multiplayer role-playing game, giving fans and the media ample reason to get excited about what lies ahead for the property. | ||
