Thanks thomas! Microsoft has just released the new version of its MDAC component. The MDAC 2.6 SP1 redistributable installer installs the same Data Access core components as Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP1. There is no MDAC 2.6 SP1 version for Alpha machines. Alpha installations should continue using MDAC 2.1.2.4202.3 (GA). This release does not include Microsoft Jet, the Microsoft Jet OLE DB Provider, the Desktop Database Drivers ODBC Driver, or the Visual FoxPro ODBC Driver. MDAC 2.6 SP1 (2.61.7326.6) is available for download in English. More languages will be released soon. | ||
