At NetWorld+Interop 2001 Las Vegas last night, Microsoft Corp. announced that Microsoft® Operations Manager 2000 (MOM 2000) will be released to manufacturing next month. MOM 2000 provides the comprehensive solution for centralized event and performance management of Windows® 2000-based servers and Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers, including Exchange 2000 Server and SQL Server™ 2000. "For scale-out environments, management is not just important - it's fundamental, and we're making it a major area of investment for Microsoft," said Cliff Reeves, vice president of Windows.NET Server Product Marketing at Microsoft. "Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 extends our management portfolio with a best-of-breed solution for managing Windows-based servers and applications in the datacenter." | ||
