Microsoft VP Phil Spencer spoke with UK Official Xbox Magazine and the topic of Crytek came up. It turns out that Microsoft once approached Crytek about becoming a first party developer. At the time, in 2003, Crytek was laying the ground for Crysis. Microsoft was more focused on “Militaristic First Person Shooters” (Also Known as Halo 2) and the two didn’t really see eye to eye. | ||
