Considered one of the more prestigious honors in video game idoldom, St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk has been officially named as the 2003 cover boy for Madden NFL 2003. Selling over four million copies on multiple platforms last year alone, the best-selling franchise is one of the videogame industry's enduring staples. You always like to have a player that represents what you want your game to represent and Marshall is that player," said John Madden. "He is a guy that is great off the field and when he gets on the field, I think he's as good as anyone that's ever played. The thing that has impressed me about Marshall in addition to the physical and the toughness is the mental part. He's out there like a coach and I think that he's the perfect guy to be involved in our game." | ||
