Microsoft Corp. said late Friday it may have lost several hundred million dollars due to a counterfeit-software ring the FBI busted Thursday with the arrest of 27 people. The two-year undercover investigation resulted in the arrest of people from northern California , Washington and Oregon . Microsoft said those arrested are allegedly responsible for "the largest criminal conspiracy in the history of the software industry involving the distribution of counterfeit and infringing software" | ||
