Our own John Spooner's got the scoop on Vista's hardware requirement estimates. In short, the Ultimate Vista Experience will require a 1GHz processor, 1GB ram, and a Gaming-grade video card for which there's LDDM driver available. I've been running the Vista CTP builds as they've come out, and I can confirm that these 3 Gs should get you all that Vista has to offer. The thing is, though, that the most hardware-stressing part of the forthcoming Ultimate Vista Experience is a little bit of graphical eye candy that frankly isn't worth the upgrade. | ||
