Hewlett-Packard and Japanese wireless carrier NTT DoCoMo said Sunday they are developing the world's first wireless telephone network equipment capable of streaming video simultaneously to millions of cell phones. Like the equipment being built inside HP and DoCoMo labs, the sight of cell phone users watching videos on their tiny screens is still years away from a full-scale deployment, acknowledges Susie Wee, manager of streaming media technologies at HP Labs. | ||
