An estimated 12,000 game developers and students descended on the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California for the 2006 Game Developers Conference. There are three things to do at GDC: attend sessions, check out the booths, and network. Since I've already got a job and I'm not actually programming games, I decided to check out the booths. I started off with the Microsoft® booth, of course, and learned all kinds of cool things about Windows Vista™. It's gonna have this really cool Games Explorer deal. | ||
