Microsoft-Ericsson venture nets first deal | |

More than a year after Ericsson and Microsoft started a joint venture to make software for wireless devices, the two companies today finally have something to show for their efforts. The joint company, called Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Ventures, today announced the first sale of its Moso, mobile email software. Norwegian mobile phone operator NetCom ASA will use the joint venture's software to offer secure access services to corporate email, calendars and corporate contact information. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. | ||
