Thanks to a Kobold. According from the latest Patent Intelligence and Technology Report (PITR), Microsoft ranks 44th among companies receiving patents in 2000. IBM came in first with 2,922 Sony 6th with 1,394 and the United States Navy came in 42nd with 362. So, it appears even if everybody thinks Microsoft is planning world domination they don't have the patents to do it. | ||
