EARLY adopters of the Internet Small Computer System Interface storage standard say it may be a way of getting the power of a storage area network without the expense of fibre channel. ISCSI enables access to storage devices and SANs over Ethernet-based Internet Protocol networks. The Internet Engineering Task Force's recent approval of iSCSI as a proposed standard is expected to advance the technology. | ||
