Microsoft Holds the Line on Server Prices | |

Some Microsoft Corp. customers who run Windows server software are expressing disappointment over the company's pricing plan for the upcoming Windows Server 2003. Considering the tough economic environment and cuts in corporate IT spending—as well as cheaper hardware platforms—some customers expected the Redmond, Wash., company to announce lower software prices. Those customers, who may not yet have signed up for Microsoft's volume licensing and Software Assurance agreements, say they may wait before upgrading to the server software. | ||
