Microsoft to Keynote at World's Largest Computer Security Event | |

Microsoft's Chief Security Strategist, Scott Charney, will be the keynote presenter at the 29th Annual Computer Security Conference and Exhibition. One of the industry's top computer security experts with wide-ranging experience in cybercrime and computer forensics, Charney formerly served as chief of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the U.S. Dept. of Justice before joining the firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. His presentation on Monday, 11 November, will offer a riveting look at current issues in information security from the perspective of both government and industry. He will address Microsoft's somewhat controversial Trustworthy Computing initiative as it pertains to improving the security of the software giant's products and services, as well as addressing critical infrastructure protection issues.
