That's one word that doesn't spring to mind when thinking about the mighty Microsoft Corp. Aggression, maybe. Toughness. Even belligerence. Not compliance. Yet that word figures largely in the software giant's corporate culture these days. No other software company has such a position. Or needs it. Smith, along with three colleagues, heads a company-wide effort to implement agreements with the Justice Department, the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission. | ||
