In the long awaited today press meeting, Corel's chairman, Derek J. Burney confirms what everyone already knows: the company is actively pursuing opportunities to allow it to spin off the Linux Distribution element of its Linux division while retaining an interest in the new prospective company. He added that Corel will pursue its efforts to develop Linux applications while at the same time collaborating with Microsoft on the .NET platform. | ||
