It appears that Windows 8 Client and Windows 8 Server will be joined by Windows 8 Embedded. Theres no telling if customers will get Windows Embedded Standard 8, but the next version of Windows Embedded will certainly be based on Windows vNext. No real surprise here, Microsoft is simply doing a repeat of the Windows 7 Windows Embedded Standard 7 pairing. | ||
