DPM provides an efficient disk-based data protection and recovery solution. DPM protects Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, and Windows Storage Server 2003, and makes use of advanced features such as replication, policy-driven protection, and the Windows Server 2003 Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
