Originally, Windows Server 2008 was scheduled to RTM by the end of 2007. In order to deliver a quality product to our customers and to meet the high quality bar Microsoft sets for itself, it is now slated to release to manufacturing in the first quarter of 2008. This does not affect the joint Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 launch, scheduled for February 27, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. The launch, as well as the launch events will remain on track. | ||
