Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Live Arcade, the very, very cool online download shop for retro games and the like, will be available on PC sometime between now and the distant future. This is quite exciting news if you're not anti-corporate and using obscure Linux distributions. The announcement wasn't quite that straightforward, though. Microsoft actually pointed out that the ability to put Arcade games on the Games for Windows - LIVE service is what's really on the way, but released no information about details - ie, if we'll have to buy Street Fighter II again. Or if SFII will even be on there. | ||
