Microsoft releases OS source to court, surprises technical experts | |

Microsoft complied yesterday with an order from U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly and provided the court with over 200 million lines of source code to the Windows XP operating system. The code had been demanded by nine litigating states and the District of Columbia as a prerequisite of determining whether the Internet Explorer browser could be separated from Windows. | ||
