Will Longhorn be a real bull when it comes to security? Computer Reseller News reports that Longhorn, the next generation version of Windows server, will be packing federated services, new collaboration capabilities, advanced storage features based on Yukon technology, and a policy-driven directory. Longhorn server should be ready to go in Q4 of next year. Windows.NET server, due in a few months, will pack native XML support, Passport support, application security and eight-node clustering, according to CRN. | ||
