In the two years since Microsoft Corp. made its debut in the online analytical processing (OLAP) space, Microsoft® SQL Server™ has overtaken competitors to become the third-largest OLAP vendor. According to the estimated analysis for 2000 produced by Business Intelligence Ltd. in The OLAP Report at http://www.olapreport.com/Market.htm, Microsoft jumped two places to the No. 3 position, knocking competitors Oracle Corp. and MicroStrategy Inc. down to No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. | ||
