DVD fans showed that their choice was clear. THREE 6 MAFIA's debut DVD/VHS release, the critically acclaimed ``CHOICES - THE MOVIE,'' was the No. 1 seller for several national retail outlets beating out DVD releases like ``Shrek,'' ``Rush Hour 2'' and ``Pearl Harbor.'' ``It was our number 1 DVD of 2001,'' says Karl Grier, director of retail merchandising for The Music Network, a distribution company whose clients include Kemp Mill, Peppermints, Starship, Turtle's and Willie's record stores. ``Considering how late in the year it was released, the numbers were impressive.'' ``CHOICES,'' which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's ``Video Chart'' last fall, details the life of a convicted felon who attempts to live an honest life upon his release from prison. THREE 6 MAFIA members DJ Paul and Juicy ``J'' star in the movie, which also features affiliates PROJECT PAT and La' Chat in major roles. | ||
