I've just posted our review of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 pointing device. Here is a blurb from it: When Microsoft released the first optical mouse in 1998 the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer was a clear best seller with more than 5.5 millions of units sold worldwide. Granted, the concept of an optical mouse isnt really new since Sun stations are provided with optical mice for decades. However, the fact Microsofts optical technology works on nearly every surface and doesnt require any special mouse pad is new. Microsoft now presents a new version 3.0 of the IntelliMouse Explorer pointing device with some feature upgrades at the same time keeping the cost down for consumers. The look of the mouse has been revamped in addition to a brand new 6000 dpi optical sensor for an unrivalled accuracy. | ||
