Microsoft Holiday Support Website Under Heavy Demand | |

It seems Microsoft's Holiday Support website, intended to give free and quick product support for those who received Microsoft gifts this year, is under heavy demand by the enormous surge of users trying to access this site and returns time-out errors to all but a few. Microsoft describes the website as "an easy, convenient starting point for support of all Microsoft products, available now through February 2002. The site also lists support options for customers outside the U.S." Microsoft easily has enough capacity to handle the demand, but the holiday surge must have been highly underestimated. | ||
